Jeg testede disse 3 hjemmeside byggere, du vil elske nummer 2

Later in this post, I will dig into 3 different website builders, but first, let me explain what a website builder is.

When you make your website there are basically 2 ways you can do it. You can either program everything from scratch which will take a ton of time, and can be a nightmare to maintain in the long run.

The second option is to use a website builder. This means you basically drag and drop elements to build your new website. Do you want a formula? Just drag it into the website. If you want a slider, then again, just drag and drop it into where you want it on your website. These website builders have revolutionised the way many websites are built today. It has opened up a lot of possibilities for non-technical people to build websites effortlessly.

My opinion

I personally have used all 3 website builders mentioned below, but today Elementor is definitely my favourite for multiple reasons. I’ll dig more into this down below.

I started out many years ago building my websites from scratch. No CMS, just HTML and CSS all the way. It definitely learned me a lot and it has also benefitted me today using these website builders. However, if you’re not going to go further than the website builder, then I do not recommend you spending time learning how to code HTML/CSS. If you want to really customise your website, knowledge of HTML and CSS will help you through.

One of the biggest benefits you get by using a website builder is; New features with no effort. As your website builder is maintained by another company(often), then it’s their job to keep it updated, secured and give you new features for you to keep paying for the product. Which means you will get all this with no effort, you just need to update the website builder when asked to do so. Great right? Well, let’s dig into my top 3 website builders, starting with WPBakery. But first, here is a quick overview of comparing the 3 website builders.

WPBakery

WPBakery was the first website builder I tried out, and I simply loved it back in the days. It’s a great all-around website builder that integrates with third parties. It’s very budget-friendly, I do however find them a bit slow when it comes to updating their plugins. WPBakery is for you if you’re using WordPress or Prestashop.

Check out WPBakery.

Elementor

Elementor is my currently favourite website builder for multiple reasons. Even though it’s one of the most expensive ones out there, I feel it’s getting constant updates, at least once per month. They release new features and they overall just deliver a fantastic product. Elementor is for you if you’re using WordPress.

Check out Elementor.

Brizy.cloud

Brizy.cloud is one of the new guys in this industry of website builders. What’s great about Brizy.cloud is that it’s independent. It is it’s own CMS system, however, they have a WordPress plugin you can use if you want to use it with your WordPress website. If you use Brizy you will feel the lack of features, as they are still on the early stage. They are however developing fast, and with their public roadmap you can help define the future of Brizy.cloud. You can read more about Brizy in my other blog post.

Checkout Brizy.cloud.

Conclusion

Of course, there are a ton of other website builders out there like Divi, Qubely and more. These website builders are also great, but this is just my top 3 of what I like to use here in 2020.
As you can see on the comparison table, they are not far from each other, and as they all develop each day. We will only see them get better. When it all comes down, I will always recommend you use a website builder, it will save you tremendous time and effort in the long run. It’s so easy to use that there are no excuses, just get started on your website!

They are more than worth it. Without breaking a sweat you can set up a website in a day, and keep it updated.
