Top 5 impressive WordPress plugins to optimize your website

WordPress Plugins are one of the many things, that makes WordPress amazing to use. With a plugin, you can turn your WordPress website into almost anything. Do you want it to collect leads? Install a plugin. If you want to transform it into a webshop, well install a plugin. The list goes on, and it’s very long. But a very important factor to remember is that the more plugins you install, the slower your website might be as it has to load more content and code. Therefore it’s extremely important you constantly optimise your website to performance, it’s not a one-time thing.

I use plugins myself, and I really appreciate all plugin developers out there. They make our lives so much easier, and we can set up a tremendous amount of features within a very short period of time. If you, for instance, want to create a webshop, I highly recommend you taking a look at Woocommerce, it’s extremely scalable and easy to set up.
If you want to make a course website or a training website, the plugin LearnDash is an awesome plugin to achieve that functionality.

As mentioned plugins are awesome, but they also slow down your website, so here are 5 wordpress plugins you can install to achieve a faster and more fluent website. I’m going briefly over them, and if you want a deeper analysis of the different plugins Athemes has made an awesome article you can read.

This website is doing extremely well in, not slowing down for crawls and keeping your website up and running during massive amounts of traffic being sent to your website and your server. Plugin 5: Hyper Cache

wp hyper cache

The last plugin I’m recommending is Hyper Cache. It’s a PHP caching plugin, and it will work with any type of WordPress website. Hyper Cache doesn’t require any customisation, it will run straight out of installation. It differentiates between mobile and desktop in terms of cache, this means it can really optimise it for the visitor based on their device. Furthermore, it works very well on websites with a lot of activity in terms of comments and more, it updates this very well. It has more than 30.000 installations, but it’s not being supported anymore which is why we’re seeing a drop in the reviews. At the moment we’re down on 4.4 stars out of 5.
